2016-17 Men’s Basketball ACC Schedule Announced

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest's 18-game ACC regular season schedule was released by the conference office on Monday afternoon (Sept. 12). The Demon Deacons will open the ACC schedule on Dec. 28 with a visit to Florida State and their ACC home slate on New Year’s Eve against Clemson.

The Demon Deacons’ home ACC schedule includes visits by Clemson (Dec. 31), Boston College (Jan. 3), North Carolina (Jan. 11), Miami (Jan. 18), Duke (Jan. 28), Georgia Tech (Feb. 4), NC State (Feb. 11), Pitt (Feb. 22) and Louisville (Mar. 1).

Wake Forest will visit Florida State (Dec. 28), Virginia (Jan. 8), NC State (Jan. 21), Syracuse (Jan. 24), Boston College (Jan. 31), Notre Dame (Feb. 7), Clemson (Feb. 14), Duke (Feb. 18) and Virginia Tech (Mar. 4) in conference play this season.

The ACC announced the TV designations for all 18 of the Demon Deacons’ conference games and the tip times for 16 of the 18 contests. Two tip times for road games will be announced at a later date.

In addition, the league announced that four of Wake Forest’s five home non-conference games will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra. The games against Radford (Nov. 11), Bucknell (Nov. 13), Coastal Carolina (Nov. 23) and Charlotte (Dec. 6) will air on the platform. ACC Network Extra is an Atlantic Coast Conference dedicated live-events digital network available to authenticated subscribers of ESPN3 available on WatchESPN and the ESPN app. More than 600 sporting events will be available to stream through the channel in 2016-17. The other home non-conference game, against LSU on Dec. 22, will air on ESPNU as previously announced.
