Following UVa's 32-25 loss last weekend to No. 5 Louisville, the Wahoos seem to have turned a bit of a corner after a lackluster couple of games. But that won't really be known until Virginia travels to Winston-Salem this weekend to face Wake Forest (3 p.m., RSN).
The Deacs come in having won five games on the year but are on the heels of a disappointing loss at home to Army. They have struggled offensively but still feature one of the ACC's better defenses. Still, it's the way they manage the game that typically serves them well.
After picking up a win in a Durham last month, Virginia is hoping to have similar results in their return to the Tar Heel State. But to do so, UVa has to be able to match WF's consistency and methodical approach.
We reached out to Mike Singer, publisher of DeaconsIllustrated.com, to talk about this game and get a sense of what the Hoos can expect to see from Louisville.
