Wake Forest in on three-star center Brandon White
Brandon White is starting to make a name for himself in the 2022 recruiting class and Wake Forest has been paying attention.
White a 6-foot-11, 250-pound center put up 16 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game at North Rowan (NC) High School this past season. He notched a career high of 30 points, had a triple-double of 18, 12 and 10 plus a double-double of 20 and 22 to highlight his sophomore season.
The No. 144 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, White listed offers from Wake Forest, East Carolina, Houston, Mississippi, South Florida, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky. He also claims interest from Illinois, Tennessee and multiple ACC programs. White told DeaconsIllustrated.com that he picked up an offer from Wake Forest this week.
“I’ve actually got two or three contacts from them,” White said about the Deacons coaching staff. “B.J. McKie reached out and then the head coach called me too. He was like, he wants me to get up there as soon as possible after the pandemic goes away.”
