Carolina Challenge preview

Raleigh (NC) Ravenscroft will again be the site where 80 of the elite 2014-16 high school basketball prospects in North Carolina will gather for the seventh annual Dave Telep Carolina Challenge Saturday, March 23.

The one-day camp is an opportunity for some of the best players in the state to compete with and against one another. It also offers an NCAA led academic seminar for parents and guardians, a player-develop session, and a speech from former South Carolina head coach Darrin Horn.

Some of the names highlighting the event's roster are 2014 Wake Forest commitment and Waxhaw (NC) Cuthbertson point guard Shelton Mitchell and other Demon Deacon targets Clayton (NC) junior power forward Gary Clark, High Point (NC) Wesleyan freshman power forward Harry Giles, Kinston (NC) sophomore small forward Brandon Ingram, Charlotte (NC) Garinger freshman center Raekwon Long and Cornelius (NC) Hough sophomore power forward Luke Maye.
