2018 RB Spruill gaining interest

Cardinal Gibbons (NC) running back Dalen Spruill is coming off an impressive showing against Southern Durham, as he ran for over 245 total yards in the Crusaders 55-42 win Thursday night.

Spruill might be small in stature but certainly is proving that he can get the job done in the ground attack and schools are taking notice.

“Purdue and Wake Forest have been really keeping up with me,” Spruill told Rivals shortly after the game. “They have been wanting me to go to their camps and visit the campus. Recently, Purdue invited me to one of their games.”

Spruill has already taken a visit to Wake Forest, while also camping there earlier in the year. He has plans on making a trip to check out the Boilermakers later on in the year, but he is just not sure when that day will be.

Spruill is a 5-foot-8, 175 prospect that ran for 1,248 yards and 12 touchdowns last season for the Crusaders.
