Wake vs. Presbyterian: post-game Q-&-A's
Winston-Salem, NC - Wake Forest improved to 3-0 with a 69-48 win over Presbyterian.
Coaches and players spoke with members of the media after the game.
Wake Forest head coach Jeff Bzdelik
On Miller-McIntyre: "Codi has been so consistent, and he's really, really good in terms of his ability to get to the rim and to finish. He's got a strong body and he uses it very, very well. He's a straight-line driver. He's playing with a great confidence right now, and he's been consistently really, really good."
Wake Forest guard Codi Miller-McIntyre
What going to be the key, with this short weekend, to get your self right for Jacksonville on Monday? "Focus. This game is over with. Whatever happened is over until we get in there and watch film and we learn from it and work on that Saturday and Sunday to get prepared for Jacksonville."
What do you think is going to be the biggest thing that needs to be improved when you play a team like Duke and UNC? "Our defensive energy. If we don't bring it defensively were not going to beat teams like Duke Carolina or any ACC team we cant just rely on pure talent because in the ACC everybody was the best at their high school, everybody was talented, everybody can jump, shoot threes but the one thing everybody can't do is play defense and if we focus on that our offense is going to take care of its self."
Presbyterian head coach Gregg Nibert
Opening statement: "The one thing we tried to do is with Wake Forest with the last two games and the VMI game they're scoring 98 and 90 some points is we new we had to slow the game down as best we could and be patient on offense and we did a much better job in the second half."
On Williams: "Coron Williams coming in there I mean he really just lit us up in the zone and we did not do a good job finding him, but he was really the difference maker in the first half when they made those threes."
