Summer stop at MSU still means a lot to Bryant

Christian Bryant of Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville is one of the top cornerback prospects still on the market, and Michigan State remains in the race to land the 5-10, 173-pounder, thanks in part to his summer camp experience this past summer in East Lansing.

Along with the Spartans, Bryant, who is rated four stars and ranked the No. 10 corner - No. 173 prospect overall - in the Class of 2010 according to Rivals.com, is strongly considering Ohio State and Tennessee. He also has North Carolina and Virginia under consideration, while he would like to receive more attention from Miami-FL and Georgia.

"Ohio State, Michigan State and Tennessee, I know I'm taking those three (official) visits for sure, and my other two is North Carolina and the University of Virginia," Bryant told SpartanMag.com of the schools he is still considering.

He added of why Columbus, East Lansing and Knoxville are must-stop official visit destinations: "Because those are really the schools that have stuck out the most to me right now. But probably later on in the season if I get a Miami-FL offer or Georgia, I'm for sure going to take those visits. Just time will tell. I talked to Miami just a few months ago, but it was nothing major, though."
