Spartans impress four-star corner

Michigan State has made up ground in the recruitment of one of the nation's top cornerback prospects, four-star rated Christian Bryant of Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville.

This past Saturday, Bryant made the trek to East Lansing with Glenville teammates Latwan Anderson and Jayrone Elliott for the Spartans' Elite Camp, and he left the MSU campus impressed with what MSU has to offer.

"Michigan State was an overall great experience," the 5-10, 173-pound Bryant told SpartanMag.com Tuesday night. "I just went in to camp doing some new drills and learning some new things from the coaches, and I'm definitely going to go into this upcoming season with some of the things that I learned in that camp. But the overall experience was good."

Bryant admitted he left MSU more impressed than he anticipated going into the camp stop.

"As I went in I didn't know what to expect really because last year when we went to Michigan State they were in the process of rebuilding their entire facility, so I just went in this year thinking how it would look and everything," Bryant said. "But I was really impressed with the facilities and coaches and everything."

Asked to pinpoint what stood out specifically at MSU, Bryant said, "Just the overall facilities and how much love they were showing me. That was a good thing for me. They just showed a lot of love."
