I had just finished talking with coach Norvell at the time and he said he would like for me to come up for the spring game. And I mentioned it to my dad and he looked at the calendar and that weekend (spring game) was actually free. And then I talked it over with my mom and we all agreed that it would be cool to go up there this past weekend. It ended up that day and I was really happy with it," answered Holmes.
