As West Virginia continues to search for linebackers in the class of 2012, one name that's popped up on the radar is an outside linebacker from Lake Central (St. John, In.) that is currently committed elsewhere, but plans a trip to Morgantown for the 104th Backyard Brawl.

Ike Spearman, 6-foot-1, 221-pounds, committed to Ole Miss in October, and while he remains committed, the firing of Houston Nutt has opened the door to explore his options.
